The Yard Sale
Wow! Praise God! These are the only two things that come to mind when I think about what God did with our Yard Sale through all those who so graciously worked hard, prayed and donated items. We raised and amazing $5000 to go toward our one-time need! Once again I am reminded of Eph. 3:20-21 which says "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, (21) to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Thank you all again for everything! Our family was so blessed by the amazing outpouring of love and support. More than once someone expressed how impressed they were with how our church family was supporting us.

The count down has begun
As we get closer and closer to our planned date of departure our lives continue to get busier and busier. Bill and Miranda just came back from Yakama on March 27th. The two of them went and spent a week with the last spring teams for this year from the University of Washington RUF and Redeemer PCA in California. Bill was able to look into some housing possibilities and Miranda spent some good time with the Granberry's working with the teams and getting an idea of what school will be like on the rez.
Now back for 1 week our family is leaving next Saturday, April 9th to head to Palmer Lake, Colorado for three weeks of missions training at Missions Training International. Each of our family members will have classes during this time of
preparedness right before we go out into the field. We are excited about this time with the family and our last big thing to do before heading to the rez. Please pray for safety and for a time of family unity as we launch out onto the rez to do the work the Lord has been preparing us for.
We have four months before we head to the rez and are still in need of $2000 in monthly support and $26,350 in one time gifts left of our $36,350 one time goal. Please pray that the Lord would continue to provide for these needs, as well as selling our home in Birmingham, so that we are prepared as we head to the rez in August. Thank you all for your continued encouragement, prayers, and financial support.

Still moving ahead
Well it has been a busy fall and winter. It is hard to believe we are moving into the spring and each month getting a little closer to Yakama. Schooling has kept me and the girls busy and Bill has been working part time and raising support. We are at 74% and very excited to see as the Lord moves in getting us closer to the rez.
Our house is still on the market, we did have a contract on it, but it fell through last week. We had packed up the house and were a bit discouraged that it did not work out. As we look back on the last week and a half we trust in him as we wait. We had so many of you come to us during this time and provide meals and help with packing and praying and we thank you all for loving us well in excitement and chaos, as well as in discouragement. We are learning so much through this journey as a family as we wait upon the Lord. Acts 1:7, Ps. 18:28
At the present time Bill and Miranda are preparing to take a trip to Yakama the week of March 18th-27th to work with one of the spring teams on the rez. Please pray for their week, Bill will be looking around at housing and they will both be involved in working with the team there and spending time with our future Sacred Road team.
When Bill and Miranda come back from Yakama they will be home for two weeks and on April 10th we will be leaving for Colorado Springs, Colorado for a three week cross cultural ministry training with MTI, referred to as SPLICE.
Please continue to pray that our support would continue to come in and we would reach our 100% goal by July as well as money for moving expenses and a large family vehicle.
